A collision led to Cucunuba getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Bertran Maruri hit a great ball. Lluciano Quicedo took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Todor Urtado. Todor Urtado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Leoncio Balaguer made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Phelipe Espindola sent off a good shot on target. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ivan Macaneață was the one to do the kick off. Lluciano Quicedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Leoncio Balaguer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rocendo Ecija, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 64 minutes of play, Cucunuba's Yang Feng Zhen made it 8-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leoncio Balaguer was left in no man's land by his defense there! Barcelona's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Corderro Marañon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-1. Barcelona were furious when Manolito Bernalda was red carded, 92 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 91 minutes into the game, one of Barcelona:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After 97 minutes of play, Cucunuba's Corderro Marañon made it 11-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leoncio Balaguer was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cucunuba walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
