The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, Franshua's goal looked a bit too open when Yang Feng Zhen came free, but Arnalt Iñarra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Franshua's Arnalt Iñarra tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ivan Macaneață blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arnalt Iñarra having to make a save. If Yang Feng Zhen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bide Berrahondo kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Ivan Macaneață managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cucunuba's supporters rose to their feet, but Ivan Macaneață was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnalt Iñarra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Todor Urtado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Weather Lerena in the 19th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, Cucunuba's goal looked a bit too open when Weather Lerena came free, but Todor Urtado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Cucunuba defense, Perfecto Pacheco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Todor Urtado. The Cucunuba fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Todor Urtado should have stopped the shot. If Ivan Macaneață had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Arnalt Iñarra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yang Feng Zhen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute, Bide Berrahondo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cucunuba's Yang Feng Zhen got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 39th minute Weather Lerena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Todor Urtado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Cucunuba's Phelipe Espindola got a free kick in the 40th minute. Bide Berrahondo hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Yang Feng Zhen put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Arnalt Iñarra. Arnalt Iñarra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yang Feng Zhen in the 46th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Weather Lerena was the one to do the kick off. Arnalt Iñarra didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 55th minute, which inside left pole to 2-3. Bide Berrahondo took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Todor Urtado. Todor Urtado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. Perfecto Pacheco struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Todor Urtado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Franshua. After 79 minutes, Bide Berrahondo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Franshua and the Cucunuba players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 79th minute, Bide Berrahondo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 86 minutes of play Franshua's Perfecto Pacheco was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 86th match minute, Franshua was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Perfecto Pacheco to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Yang Feng Zhen managed to get in a good position for a shot.
