In the 10th minute, Ivon Cerecedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Ivon Cerecedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Ma&Lu Futbol Club's zone, Americo Boladeras stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yader Villavedon came out of the goal and Americo Boladeras tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Cantera De Héroes F.C ® booed when Ma&Lu Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Borrego didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cantera De Héroes F.C ®'s goalkeeper Semeno Valladares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Americo Boladeras's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yader Villavedon was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Americo Boladeras in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yader Villavedon saved Ma&Lu Futbol Club from getting behind. After some careless play in the Ma&Lu Futbol Club defense, Americo Boladeras kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yader Villavedon. The Ma&Lu Futbol Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yader Villavedon should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Americo Aribau in the 41st minute of play forced Cantera De Héroes F.C ®'s goalkeeper Semeno Valladares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xuan Urtiaga hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Semeno Valladares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jiří Kudla in the 44th minute of the match. In the 46th minute of the match, Americo Aribau tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Semeno Valladares saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.

Ivon Cerecedo's late challenge caught a Ma&Lu Futbol Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ivon Cerecedo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Ma&Lu Futbol Club booed when Cantera De Héroes F.C ® was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivon Cerecedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Azubeli Ursua received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Yader Villavedon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 78 minutes into the match, Jiří Kudla had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Semeno Valladares. When Americo Boladeras came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Cantera De Héroes F.C ® fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Americo Boladeras couldn't finish the play. In the 88th match minute, Cantera De Héroes F.C ® was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lazaro Bascones to maneuver through the defense. After 89 played minutes, Ma&Lu Futbol Club's Xesus Toledo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Semeno Valladares came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ma&Lu Futbol Club reached it. Lazaro Bascones fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yader Villavedon having to interfere. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
