An unexpectedly hard shot by Chus Ayarza in the 4th minute of play forced Villa Roca's goalkeeper Eleder Goitia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 5th minute of the match Real Cartagena got a corner. Villa Roca's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alonzo Helguera ran over to the corner to take the kick. Real Cartagena's Alonzo Helguera was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Eleder Goitia in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a rather tough play, Real Cartagena's Eneko Vallines got a free kick in the 7th minute. Kylan Mbappè hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Casomiro Hinojos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sengrat Cieza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Dag Ahlrot managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Cartagena's supporters rose to their feet, but Dag Ahlrot was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eleder Goitia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edwin Devine showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kylan Mbappè, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 29th match minute, Real Cartagena was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alonzo Helguera to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Real Cartagena's Roderick Blind got a free kick in the 41st minute. Eleder Goitia was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Chus Ayarza showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 47 minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Kylan Mbappè made the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes of play, Real Cartagena's Dag Ahlrot made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eleder Goitia was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Roderick Blind in the 59th minute of play forced Villa Roca's goalkeeper Eleder Goitia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Columbo Seracoyz in the 64th minute of play forced Real Cartagena's goalkeeper Edwin Devine to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edwin Devine showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sanchez Navas in the 69th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chus Ayarza in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eleder Goitia saved Villa Roca from getting behind. Dag Ahlrot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eleder Goitia having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, Harris Geraets had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eleder Goitia. Villa Roca's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Harris Geraets was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. After having played for 89 minutes, Harris Geraets managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Cartagena's supporters crossed their fingers, but Harris Geraets was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Villa Roca's Eleder Goitia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harris Geraets in the 94th minute of play. Eleder Goitia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chus Ayarza, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Villa Roca players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Real Cartagena.
