America De Cali's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alfred Reisz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Cai Cheng Sang blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Normando Graniela having to make a save. 13 minutes into the game, Mete Gol cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Normando Graniela was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gil Sayavedra hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. After 21 minutes of play, Heartbreakers's Mete Gol made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Normando Graniela was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alfred Reisz succeeded in the game's 24th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-4. Alfred Reisz scored 0-5 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Normando Graniela, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alfred Reisz struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Normando Graniela didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Heartbreakers. Michael Jordan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Normando Graniela having to make a save. In the 34th match minute, America De Cali was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eguen Amarelle to maneuver through the defense. Normando Graniela came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Heartbreakers's Alfred Reisz. But to his dismay, Alfred Reisz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. After some careless play in the America De Cali defense, Alfred Reisz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Normando Graniela. The America De Cali fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Normando Graniela should have stopped the shot. Eguen Amarelle hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Cai Cheng Sang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Normando Graniela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-7 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ler Cayuso made a kick off. Normando Graniela stood somewhat misplaced when Alfred Reisz came free in front of goal and shot 0-8 to the left of him in the 51 minute. Heartbreakers's Cai Cheng Sang was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 53rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 57th minute, Igor Barrutia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Heartbreakers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-10. Heartbreakers made a substitution. Matei Ţiţeica replaced Cai Cheng Sang. In the 61st minute, Mete Gol made a precise shot to the right of Normando Graniela. America De Cali's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-11. Mete Gol took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Normando Graniela. Normando Graniela dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-13. After 73 minutes of play, Heartbreakers's Mete Gol made it 0-14 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Normando Graniela was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alfred Reisz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 77thth minute tested the skills of Normando Graniela when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Normando Graniela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfred Reisz in the 80th minute of the match. After some careless play in the America De Cali defense, Alfred Reisz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Normando Graniela. The America De Cali fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Normando Graniela should have stopped the shot. In the 85th minute, Matei Ţiţeica reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Normando Graniela. The goal made the score 0-16. After a defensive mix-up in America De Cali's zone, Matei Ţiţeica stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Normando Graniela came out of the goal and Matei Ţiţeica tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 89th minute, Xosepe Viesca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Heartbreakers were awarded a corner in the 91th minute after America De Cali's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Robinho Leme took the corner. The corner ended in Michael Jordan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but America De Cali's Normando Graniela did a great save. Normando Graniela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michael Jordan in the 93rd minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, America De Cali's goalkeeper Normando Graniela had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alexander Del Piero. Heartbreakers's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
