An unexpectedly hard shot by Ongile Gavilanes in the 3rd minute of play forced Mas que Vencedores 1988's goalkeeper Eneko Alvarez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emesto Erauso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vilmantas Ubavičius in the 5th minute of the match. After 9 minutes of play, Caligaris's Ongile Gavilanes made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eneko Alvarez was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 14 played minutes Caligaris got a freekick which was hit by Eric Cotoi. 15 minutes into the match, Caligaris's goalkeeper Emesto Erauso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Johan Lång. Eric Cotoi hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 17th match minute, Caligaris was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torbjörn Hägglund to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ongile Gavilanes in the 26th minute of play forced Mas que Vencedores 1988's goalkeeper Eneko Alvarez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edgar Bronicki was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 30 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Waldir de Senna got free with Emesto Erauso in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gilbert Prusek made in the 34th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Caligaris's Gwidon Munko. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mas que Vencedores 1988's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Branco Alberto was slow to take the kick. During this time Caligaris's players had a chance to rest. After a rather tough play, Mas que Vencedores 1988's Ture Möllgren got a free kick in the 37th minute. After 38 played minutes Mas que Vencedores 1988 got a freekick which was hit by Johan Lång. Eneko Alvarez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Branco Alberto in the 39th minute of play. Eneko Alvarez came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Caligaris's Eric Cotoi. But to his dismay, Eric Cotoi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcelo Soria during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Matias Paublo kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eric Cotoi to make the kick off. Emesto Erauso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vilmantas Ubavičius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ture Möllgren kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mas que Vencedores 1988's goalkeeper Eneko Alvarez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eneko Alvarez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torbjörn Hägglund in the 58th minute of the match. Caligaris were awarded a corner in the 59th minute after Mas que Vencedores 1988's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Branco Alberto took the corner. After taking down the ball on Caligaris's corner Torbjörn Hägglund fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Eneko Alvarez quite easily take care of the ball. Emesto Erauso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vilmantas Ubavičius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 63 minutes into the match, Vilmantas Ubavičius had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emesto Erauso. Caligaris's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vilmantas Ubavičius was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. In the 70th minute, Nestor Placiencia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mas que Vencedores 1988 made a substitution. Rajmond Visch replaced Nestor Placiencia. In the 79th minute Vilmantas Ubavičius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emesto Erauso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Caligaris's Emesto Erauso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vilmantas Ubavičius in the 81st minute of play. Jörgen Uggla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Eneko Alvarez made a huge save. Ongile Gavilanes charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ongile Gavilanes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 88 played minutes Caligaris got a freekick which was hit by Ongile Gavilanes. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johan Lång in the 91st minute of play forced Caligaris's goalkeeper Emesto Erauso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th minute Vilmantas Ubavičius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emesto Erauso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 95 minutes, Waldir de Senna mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mas que Vencedores 1988 and the Caligaris players grew even worse after the yellow card. Waldir de Senna hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Caligaris's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
