Mas que Vencedores 1988's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Banan Balle came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Mas que Vencedores 1988's Ture Möllgren. But to his dismay, Ture Möllgren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Hernan Machado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eneko Alvarez having to interfere. Eneko Alvarez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hernan Machado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 37 minutes into the match, INTERNAUTAS FDC's Hernan Machado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eneko Alvarez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Eneko Alvarez came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by INTERNAUTAS FDC's Hernan Machado. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hernan Machado to strike the kick off in the second half. The Mas que Vencedores 1988 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eneko Alvarez should have stopped the shot. Frechoso Ugartondo was slow to take the kick. During this time INTERNAUTAS FDC's players had a chance to rest. Lawrence Udias made a great header on INTERNAUTAS FDC's corner, it was just that Mas que Vencedores 1988's Eneko Alvarez managed to reach the ball for a save. Bertran Soberon charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bertran Soberon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 91st minute, Bertran Soberon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. INTERNAUTAS FDC fully deserved thier win.
