In the 9th minute of the match, Gonza Villamil tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lev Yashin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some careless play in the junior defense, Matxin Maliaño kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valente Arrazola. The junior fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valente Arrazola should have stopped the shot. Matxin Maliaño took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valente Arrazola. Valente Arrazola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matxin Maliaño in the 36th minute of the match. In the 46th minute, Teofil Bulkiewicz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lev Yashin. The goal made the score 1-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
