The audience thought a goal was coming when Isusko Irizarry got free with Tallia Chinchetru in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mikolas Hoa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Heli Rolan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rubio Robles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tallia Chinchetru made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Guillen Gamboa sent off a good shot on target. Heli Rolan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rubio Robles in the 18th minute of play. Rubio Robles's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Heli Rolan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Mikolas Hoa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Heli Rolan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 24 minutes into the game, Rubio Robles cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Heli Rolan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Taren defense, Guillen Gamboa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tallia Chinchetru. The Taren fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tallia Chinchetru should have stopped the shot. Barto Viniambres hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Heli Rolan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mikolas Hoa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th minute, Rubio Robles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Heli Rolan came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Taren's Mikolas Hoa. But to his dismay, Mikolas Hoa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rubio Robles to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55thth minute of the game Mazuste Orol who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Taren's Tallia Chinchetru was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mazuste Orol in the 58th minute of play forced Taren's goalkeeper Tallia Chinchetru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tallia Chinchetru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mazuste Orol in the 59th minute of the match. The supporters of Taren booed when Nonabana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mazuste Orol didn't get a good kick on the ball. Heli Rolan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rubio Robles in the 71st minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Taren's goal looked a bit too open when Mazuste Orol came free, but Tallia Chinchetru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nonabana's Heli Rolan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rubio Robles in the 74th minute of play. Tallia Chinchetru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isusko Irizarry, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute, Isusko Irizarry left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nonabana fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Erasto Rodil's late challenge caught a Taren's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erasto Rodil helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Nonabana's Erasto Rodil got a free kick in the 87th minute. Mikolas Hoa's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Heli Rolan firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Mikolas Hoa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
