An unexpectedly hard shot by Mazuste Orol in the 3rd minute of play forced Guaricoto's goalkeeper Daniel Urquizu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7th minute Roberto Senderos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Heli Rolan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isusko Irizarry kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the match, Guaricoto's goal looked a bit too open when Mazuste Orol came free, but Daniel Urquizu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute, Guaricoto's Roberto Senderos ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Heli Rolan. Heli Rolan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 19th minute Guillen Gamboa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Urquizu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the game, Guaricoto's Anxo Borrellino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Heli Rolan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Zornin Lubiano's late challenge caught a Nonabana's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zornin Lubiano helped the player get up and apologised. Zornin Lubiano hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. If Guillen Gamboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Urquizu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guillen Gamboa, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Anxo Borrellino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Heli Rolan managed to avoid a goal in the 37thth minute, when Guaricoto's Anxo Borrellino fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Roberto Senderos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Heli Rolan having to make a save. Roberto Senderos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Heli Rolan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fidel Rotalo kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Guillen Gamboa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nonabana's supporters rose to their feet, but Guillen Gamboa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Urquizu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mazuste Orol was the one to do the kick off. Heli Rolan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roberto Senderos in the 52nd minute of play. Anxo Borrellino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Heli Rolan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Daniel Urquizu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guillen Gamboa in the 56th minute. Heli Rolan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roberto Senderos in the 60th minute of play. Anxo Borrellino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 65 minutes into the game, Gorosti Gatnau cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Daniel Urquizu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 74th match minute, Guaricoto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fidel Rotalo to maneuver through the defense. When Mazuste Orol came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Nonabana fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mazuste Orol couldn't finish the play. Anxo Borrellino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 84 minutes into the match, Nonabana's goal looked a bit too open when Roberto Senderos came free, but Heli Rolan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute, Isusko Irizarry hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Heli Rolan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roberto Senderos, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Guaricoto had played much better football throughout.
