Spectators: 6690 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1690, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Lore Cachorro made the kick off which started today's match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roberto Senderos in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tono Arbe saved Maravillas FC from getting behind. Tono Arbe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roberto Senderos in the 12th minute of play. 13 minutes had been played when some careless play by Maravillas FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nicanor Cadorniga was slow to take the kick. During this time Guaricoto's players had a chance to rest. In the 16th minute, Anxo Borrellino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tono Arbe was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Guaricoto's zone, Lore Cachorro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Urquizu came out of the goal and Lore Cachorro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 30th minute, Timeteo Echaez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Timeteo Echaez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Daniel Urquizu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anxo Borrellino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Guaricoto's Anxo Borrellino in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Maravillas FC's goalie prevented a goal. If Roberto Senderos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Guaricoto were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Roberto Senderos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tono Arbe having to interfere. Tono Arbe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roberto Senderos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Timeteo Echaez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the Maravillas FC defense, Anxo Borrellino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tono Arbe. The Maravillas FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tono Arbe should have stopped the shot. Maravillas FC's Timeteo Echaez got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 80th minute Fidel Rotalo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tono Arbe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 84 minutes, Lore Cachorro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Maravillas FC and the Guaricoto players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Maravillas FC's Lore Cachorro got a free kick in the 85th minute. The audience was convinced that Roberto Senderos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tono Arbe was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timeteo Echaez in the 90th minute of play forced Guaricoto's goalkeeper Daniel Urquizu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Maravillas FC's Ronaldo Brancovi got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Tono Arbe was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Nicanor Cadorniga. In the 96thth minute of the game Lore Cachorro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guaricoto's Daniel Urquizu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Guaricoto supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Guaricoto would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
