That made the score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Mapiricure FC's Tiago Manrique sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mundo Borines narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mundo Borines stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iztal Mecaur's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Afonso Monteagudo made a kick off. Montel Belaunde hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Afonso Monteagudo in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Crispo Ruy saved Mapiricure FC from getting behind. After having played for 56 minutes, Estebe Alonso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. fc barcelona's supporters crossed their fingers, but Estebe Alonso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Locaio Soldevila got free with Mundo Borines in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Montel Belaunde struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Mundo Borines didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mapiricure FC.
