After a rather tough play, Atapirire's Rufo Barreda got a free kick in the 8th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Quinton Flames during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Costilla FC booed when Atapirire was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Quinton Flames didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Atapirire's zone, Xepe Ruidio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Montrelle Orense came out of the goal and Xepe Ruidio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Montrelle Orense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cidro Amocia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 15 minutes into the match, Atapirire's goal looked a bit too open when Cidro Amocia came free, but Montrelle Orense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Montrelle Orense stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cidro Amocia's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Josias Inguanzo took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Montrelle Orense. Montrelle Orense dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, Atapirire's Ronaldinho Sal got a free kick in the 24th minute. Cidro Amocia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Atapirire booed when Costilla FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Onofre Maestu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th match minute, Costilla FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugenio Alen to maneuver through the defense. Cidro Amocia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Montrelle Orense read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Xepe Ruidio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Eugenio Alen fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costilla FC's protests and gave Eugenio Alen a yellow card for diving instead. Xepe Ruidio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Montrelle Orense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cidro Amocia, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. 45 minutes into the match, Atapirire's goal looked a bit too open when Cidro Amocia came free, but Montrelle Orense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xepe Ruidio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cidro Amocia to make the kick off. Xepe Ruidio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Montrelle Orense made a huge save. If Cidro Amocia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xepe Ruidio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Montrelle Orense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Onofre Maestu's late challenge caught a Atapirire's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Onofre Maestu helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Costilla FC's Onofre Maestu got a free kick in the 67th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severo Trillo in the 68th minute of play forced Costilla FC's goalkeeper Baiarte Real to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cidro Amocia had several of the Atapirire's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 73 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-2 score and a disappointed Montrelle Orense as he didn't even see the shot coming. Cidro Amocia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martinez Gainzarain in the 90th minute of play forced Costilla FC's goalkeeper Baiarte Real to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Severo Trillo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Baiarte Real having to make a save. The audience was convinced that Martinez Gainzarain's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baiarte Real was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. Xepe Ruidio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Montrelle Orense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Costilla FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Atapirire.
