The supporters of Domingote FC booed when AC Mineros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Everardo Argüelles didn't get a good kick on the ball. Polo Gordo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jesus Pescaredo, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Polo Gordo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jesus Pescaredo's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Bernardino Lamarta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Bizoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Azeari Asenjo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bernardino Lamarta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlos Bizoso went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After recieving a nice pass, AC Mineros's Santikurtz Sabuco tried to score from far away in the 33rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 35th minute, Jesus Pescaredo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Pelayo in the 37th minute of play forced AC Mineros's goalkeeper Bernardino Lamarta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Augusto Pelayo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardino Lamarta having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carlos Bizoso was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Pelayo in the 56th minute of play forced AC Mineros's goalkeeper Bernardino Lamarta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute, Pudes Alaiza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bernardino Lamarta stood somewhat misplaced when Carlos Bizoso came free in front of goal and shot 0-2 to the left of him in the 60 minute. If Augusto Pelayo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Domingote FC's Carlos Bizoso slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bernardino Lamarta. That made the score 0-3 after 69 minutes of play. After having played for 74 minutes, Carlos Bizoso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Domingote FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Bizoso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Augusto Pelayo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Polo Gordo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Azeari Asenjo in the 78th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jesus Pescaredo in the 82nd minute of play forced Domingote FC's goalkeeper Polo Gordo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Polo Gordo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Azeari Asenjo, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 85th minute, Ermano Davila hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jesus Pescaredo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Everardo Argüelles's late challenge caught a Domingote FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Everardo Argüelles helped the player get up and apologised. After 92 played minutes AC Mineros got a freekick which was hit by Everardo Argüelles. Carlos Bizoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardino Lamarta having to interfere. Augusto Pelayo came free with the goalkeeper in the 95th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Bernardino Lamarta could save by the left post. Azeari Asenjo struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Polo Gordo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AC Mineros. The Domingote FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Domingote FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
