An unexpectedly hard shot by Zbyszek Soliwoda in the 11th minute of play forced Caripito's goalkeeper Lordi Iturriaga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lordi Iturriaga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Olympique Gualembe. Caripito's Lordi Iturriaga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zbyszek Soliwoda in the 27th minute of play. Lordi Iturriaga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luar Ayerdi in the 29th minute of play. Hanot Marimon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xavion Cumbres in the 31st minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Caripito's goalkeeper Lordi Iturriaga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Natalio Astoreca. In the 45th minute Luar Ayerdi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lordi Iturriaga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Luar Ayerdi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Olympique Gualembe's supporters rose to their feet, but Luar Ayerdi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lordi Iturriaga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 71st minute Luar Ayerdi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lordi Iturriaga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lordi Iturriaga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edur Isoba in the 73rd minute of the match. Natalio Astoreca scored 5-1 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lordi Iturriaga, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
