Spectators: 6712 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1712, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tobias Rojo started the match with the kick off. 6 minutes into the match, Frantzes Riesgo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Boni Jiron. Cayena's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Frantzes Riesgo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. When Leobardo Valdevielso came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the NOKIA F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leobardo Valdevielso couldn't finish the play. Frantzes Riesgo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Boni Jiron read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. The supporters of NOKIA F.C booed when Cayena was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaizko Campillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 17 minutes into the game, Frantzes Riesgo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Boni Jiron was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 28th minute, Leobardo Valdevielso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 35th minute of the match, Tobias Rojo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ignacio Oquendo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Tobias Rojo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ignacio Oquendo having to interfere. Ciano Miquelarena's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ignacio Oquendo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. 48 minutes into the game, Tobias Rojo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ignacio Oquendo. Tobias Rojo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frantzes Riesgo was the one to do the kick off. If Frantzes Riesgo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. NOKIA F.C's Ignacio Oquendo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciano Miquelarena in the 59th minute of play. Cayena's Boni Jiron proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Cayena from getting a goal against them. Salvino Villaseñor hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Cayena's zone, Leobardo Valdevielso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Boni Jiron came out of the goal and Leobardo Valdevielso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 73 minutes, Gotzon Penilla mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the NOKIA F.C and the Cayena players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 73rd minute, Gotzon Penilla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ignacio Oquendo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tobias Rojo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ignacio Oquendo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tobias Rojo in the 78th minute of the match. In the 85th minute Tobias Rojo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignacio Oquendo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tobias Rojo in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ignacio Oquendo saved NOKIA F.C from getting behind. When Lorenzo Celama fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cayena's protests and gave Lorenzo Celama a yellow card for diving instead. Lorenzo Celama hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Cayena's Boni Jiron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frantzes Riesgo in the 91st minute of play. In the 94th minute, Ciano Miquelarena left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cayena fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobias Rojo in the 98th minute of play forced NOKIA F.C's goalkeeper Ignacio Oquendo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tobias Rojo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 101st minute. Ignacio Oquendo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Cayena fans cheered their team off the field, for while NOKIA F.C had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
