When Lino Lecuna fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Natzu's protests and gave Lino Lecuna a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Natzu fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 31st minute. Penalty! After a rather tough play, Macoraca FC's Nazario Asenjo got a free kick in the 36th minute. Stefano Hita scored 0-1 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pabla Ardines, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pabla Ardines took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Txilar Cangas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44thth minute of the game Txilar Cangas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Macoraca FC's Pabla Ardines was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Macoraca FC's Mirande Trilla got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Natzu's zone, Mirande Trilla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Confesor Chinchilla came out of the goal and Mirande Trilla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half Natzu were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Txilar Cangas to strike the kick off in the second half. If Stefano Hita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 56 played minutes Natzu got a freekick which was hit by Cisco Lorenzana. Reyes Beteta hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Confesor Chinchilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blas Briseño, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Macoraca FC booed when Natzu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cisco Lorenzana didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 61 played minutes, Macoraca FC's Blas Briseño shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Confesor Chinchilla came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Macoraca FC reached it. Stefano Hita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cordarell Chimeno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Txilar Cangas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Pabla Ardines tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Stefano Hita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Natzu's supporters rose to their feet, but Stefano Hita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pabla Ardines breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Txilar Cangas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Macoraca FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Natzu were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
