When Sal Irigoras came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Guasdual FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sal Irigoras couldn't finish the play. Urtsua Zuñiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Frisco Santistevan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Felo Arada showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Guasdual FC's Sal Irigoras got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 29th minute Marcelo Giralte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felo Arada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Palosano FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sal Irigoras came free, but Felo Arada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gaspar Sorribo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Felo Arada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Guasdual FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sal Irigoras to strike the kick off in the second half. Jokin Gaviria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 58 minutes into the match, Palosano FC's goalkeeper Felo Arada had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcelo Giralte. When Jokin Gaviria came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Palosano FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jokin Gaviria couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Urtsua Zuñiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Frisco Santistevan was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Palosano FC's Felo Arada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sal Irigoras in the 64th minute of play. Jokin Gaviria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice moves Marcelo Giralte could shoot a difficult shot in the 77th minute, which Felo Arada however easily saved by the left post. Frisco Santistevan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jokin Gaviria, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Palosano FC's goalkeeper Felo Arada, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 94th minute, Jokin Gaviria ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Frisco Santistevan was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
