The referee felt a red card was in order, 10 minutes into the game, when Fonda Porras put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 9th minute of the game. One of Claduins:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Abudure:s goal. Claduins's Vitin Armoña played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mantzio Pato in the 14th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Tabor Arraiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jerrold Brasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Luis Cordal made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Iaki Zuaza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Claduins's supporters rose to their feet, but Iaki Zuaza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luis Cordal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 24thth minute of the game Imanol Cancel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Abudure's Luis Cordal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Abudure's zone, Jerrold Brasa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luis Cordal came out of the goal and Jerrold Brasa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Iaki Zuaza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vitin Armoña showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferrer Guitart, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Vitin Armoña made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tabor Arraiz in the 30th minute of play. In the 32nd minute Kaiet Reboiras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vitin Armoña saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vitin Armoña took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nunez Somovilla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes into the match, Abudure's goal looked a bit too open when Imanol Cancel came free, but Luis Cordal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Abudure's goalkeeper Luis Cordal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
