After 12 minutes, Valentim Baldonado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Yacambú FC and the Cata players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sagrario Pizarro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yacambú FC's Gonzo Natal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sagrario Pizarro in the 15th minute of play. If Ramon Ucles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. During the 22nd minute of the match Valentim Baldonado completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Valentim Baldonado a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 22nd match minute, Yacambú FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentim Baldonado to maneuver through the defense. Mosen Zalvide sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
