The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Llope Alday took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentim Baldonado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gonzo Natal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domeka Cachorro in the 33rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artizar Yanguas in the 37th minute of play forced Verdum's goalkeeper Llope Alday to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leandro Barraza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Gonzo Natal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Domeka Cachorro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Yacambú FC's Gonzo Natal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domeka Cachorro in the 51st minute of play. Valentim Baldonado kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Otsando Marquina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ramon Ucles got free with Llope Alday in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 65th minute, Artizar Yanguas fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Llope Alday, passed just outside the right post. A collision led to Verdum getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Curcio Cordova hit a great ball. Leandro Barraza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonzo Natal having to interfere. Ramon Ucles kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. In the 83rd minute, Leandro Barraza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Yacambú FC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Otsando Marquina hit a great ball. 88 minutes into the match, Yacambú FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leandro Barraza came free, but Gonzo Natal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
