But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gutxi Palafox couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The crowd rose to their feet as Fc Aragua's Andrew Borrellino slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ondino Cañaveral. That made the score 0-4 after 82 minutes of play. When Rodrigo Berberana fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fc Aragua's protests and gave Rodrigo Berberana a yellow card for diving instead. In the 92nd match minute, Fc Aragua was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo Berberana to maneuver through the defense.
