Bocon's Pio Trejo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sedeni Agriano in the 4th minute of play. Pio Trejo came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by deportivo pasto's Sedeni Agriano. But to his dismay, Sedeni Agriano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Xulio Freigido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonel Domingo in the 7th minute of the match. Pio Trejo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elixio Urrea, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Elixio Urrea's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pio Trejo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Bocon's Pio Trejo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Bocon from getting a goal against them. Fabio Cadiz hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Galsino Curbelo, 15 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Pio Trejo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sedeni Agriano in the 19th minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Jordi Sal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Xulio Freigido took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduino Ibarrola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute of the match Lekubegi Sereno sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Xulio Freigido skillfully saved the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Ipar Garay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bocon's supporters rose to their feet, but Ipar Garay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xulio Freigido breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 35 minutes into the match, deportivo pasto's goal looked a bit too open when Vennancio Campa came free, but Xulio Freigido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luis-Antonio Santisteban recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 42nd minute Vennancio Campa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xulio Freigido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ambrosio Santavida fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored deportivo pasto's protests and gave Ambrosio Santavida a yellow card for diving instead. Ambrosio Santavida hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After 45 played minutes deportivo pasto got a freekick which was hit by Ambrosio Santavida. After 47 minutes, Leonel Domingo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bocon and the deportivo pasto players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Elixio Urrea in the 53rd minute of play forced Bocon's goalkeeper Pio Trejo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pio Trejo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sedeni Agriano in the 57th minute of play. Xulio Freigido took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vennancio Campa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th minute Eduino Ibarrola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xulio Freigido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Bocon booed when deportivo pasto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ambrosio Santavida didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Elixio Urrea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pio Trejo was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Pio Trejo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elixio Urrea in the 70th minute of play. If Elixio Urrea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. After recieving a nice pass, Bocon's Galsino Curbelo tried to score from far away in the 95th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. deportivo pasto were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Bocon to leave the ground with a draw.
