After a rather tough play, Danta FC's Alexandro Celis got a free kick in the 13th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Zumar Ziguenza dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nestor Solo, 1-1. 22 minutes into the match, Foro Barreras notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Salazar's Cristofol Catiti. Cristofol Catiti was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Isaias Soria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zumar Ziguenza in the 31st minute of play forced Danta FC's goalkeeper Nestor Solo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34thth minute of the game Carlos Donallo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Salazar's Cristofol Catiti was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 38 minutes, Arlo Gamez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Danta FC and the Salazar players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some careless play in the Salazar defense, Foro Barreras kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cristofol Catiti. The Salazar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cristofol Catiti should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zumar Ziguenza to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Danta FC's zone, Isaias Soria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nestor Solo came out of the goal and Isaias Soria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zumar Ziguenza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nestor Solo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zumar Ziguenza in the 77th minute of the match. In the 78th minute Zumar Ziguenza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Solo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th minute of the match Fonda Rebellon sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nestor Solo skillfully saved the ball. Zumar Ziguenza struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Nestor Solo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Salazar.
