In the 8thth minute of the game Eliu Mandelo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Macoruca's Cris Salgueiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zlatko Jagačić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cris Salgueiro having to interfere. Eliu Mandelo might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cris Salgueiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eliu Mandelo ran back to his position shaking his head. Eliu Mandelo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Macoruca's Musko Torrez got a free kick in the 13th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ovidio Brañas during the 29th minute. The supporters of Atlético Álvar F.C. booed when Macoruca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maria Carcamo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eliu Mandelo was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Atlético Álvar F.C. getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Ovidio Brañas hit a great ball. In the 83rd minute, Musko Torrez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 85 minutes of play, Atlético Álvar F.C.'s Eliu Mandelo made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net.
