Timeteo Aviñante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amado Malla in the 11th minute of play. Marcelo Fuertehijar hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Vicemte Mestre charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vicemte Mestre the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Timeteo Aviñante acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 24th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Izel Castresana. Madeo Olasagasti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 27 minutes into the match, Curairima FC's goal looked a bit too open when Amado Malla came free, but Timeteo Aviñante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Guaratara getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Izel Castresana hit a great ball. Sanchez Patiño took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Azeari Castro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Gabrio Buyolo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Guaratara's goalkeeper Sanchez Patiño, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 39th match minute, Guaratara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enrico Sopeña to maneuver through the defense. Guaratara's Sanchez Patiño played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xanti Cidiel in the 42nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xanti Cidiel in the 46th minute of play forced Guaratara's goalkeeper Sanchez Patiño to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Amado Malla to strike the kick off in the second half. Azeari Castro's late challenge caught a Guaratara's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Azeari Castro helped the player get up and apologised. 63 minutes into the game, one of Curairima FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Izel Castresana shot the penalty kick right outside the post. The audience was convinced that Amado Malla's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Timeteo Aviñante was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. After 71 played minutes Guaratara got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo Fuertehijar. In the 72nd minute, Azeari Castro sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Guaratara's Sanchez Patiño didn't even have to move. Timeteo Aviñante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amador Redondas, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute.
