Barlovento's supporters rose to their feet, but Garaile Guridi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Asur Fontiveros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Atilano Betancur managed to get in a good position for a shot. Asur Fontiveros didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Martxelin Alarcon went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 28 minutes into the match, Guanapito FC's goal looked a bit too open when Garaile Guridi came free, but Asur Fontiveros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute Atilano Betancur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romano Rioseras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Martxelin Alarcon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Guanapito FC's goalkeeper Asur Fontiveros, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Atilano Betancur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Turi Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Guanapito FC booed when Barlovento was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduardo Beysama didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Atilano Betancur stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Martxelin Alarcon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Atilano Betancur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romano Rioseras having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Barlovento's zone, Atilano Betancur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romano Rioseras came out of the goal and Atilano Betancur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Barlovento's Goizeder Lara got a free kick in the 77th minute. Ovidio Ceraso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 85 minutes into the match, Guanapito FC's goalkeeper Asur Fontiveros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Garaile Guridi. In the 88th minute, Atilano Betancur got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 93 minutes Barlovento's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fermin Brieba who took care of the corner kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atilano Betancur in the 94th minute of play forced Barlovento's goalkeeper Romano Rioseras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Barlovento's goal looked a bit too open when Turi Sancho came free, but Romano Rioseras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Atilano Betancur struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Romano Rioseras didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guanapito FC. Guanapito FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
