The Izquiel FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bernardino Vaquero should have stopped the shot. In the 20th minute Benet Acebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardino Vaquero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 20 minutes of play, Crucecita's Benet Acebo made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Crucecita eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
