In the 28th minute, Laurendi Cortiguera got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Laurendi Cortiguera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oxarra Albo hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute, Frichoso Ingla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ferran Canzino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Ebardo Rosete made a huge save. Ebardo Rosete took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rioja Villalambrus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matacan FC's Rioja Villalambrus got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Laurendi Cortiguera stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frichoso Ingla in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ebardo Rosete saved Jusepin FC from getting behind. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jusepin FC's goalkeeper Ebardo Rosete, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 57th minute Ferran Canzino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ebardo Rosete saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th minute, Jusepin FC's Laurendi Cortiguera dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. Laurendi Cortiguera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 73 minutes, Rameriz Orallo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jusepin FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rameriz Orallo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ebardo Rosete took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferran Canzino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Jusepin FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Erramu Fontevilla hit a great ball. 82 minutes into the match, Jusepin FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rioja Villalambrus came free, but Ebardo Rosete reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 84 minutes into the game, Iraido Costoya was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jusepin FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Matacan FC the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Jusepin FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 84th minute. Penalty! Oxarra Albo hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Jusepin FC were awarded a corner in the 96th minute after Matacan FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Policarpio Espuga took the corner. The Jusepin FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Jusepin FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
