Spectators: 6707 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1707, VIP seats: 0) Lapa's Urtsua Torneira started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the game, Satordi Aldama was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lapa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Patiecito the free kick. In the 6th minute, Satordi Aldama hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Peru Turrilla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Froiz having to interfere. In the 15th minute, Lapa's Peru Turrilla dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 22nd minute Urtsua Torneira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Froiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcelito Cajigal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joseph Camango's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. After 24 played minutes Lapa got a freekick which was hit by Satordi Aldama. Marcelito Cajigal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joseph Camango, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Joseph Camango put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Marcelito Cajigal. Marcelo Froiz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Satordi Aldama went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. After 35 minutes of play, Lapa's Peru Turrilla made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcelo Froiz was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 44th minute Joseph Camango shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelito Cajigal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 46 minutes into the game, Ixaka Sisalde cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Marcelito Cajigal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

The wind increased when Ixaka Sisalde made the kick off in the second half. Marcelo Froiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peru Turrilla, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. If Peru Turrilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Lapa's Marcelito Cajigal got control of the ball when Joseph Camango tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marcelo Froiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urtsua Torneira in the 57th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Patiecito's goal looked a bit too open when Urtsua Torneira came free, but Marcelo Froiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 61 played minutes Lapa got a freekick which was hit by Satordi Aldama. Peru Turrilla hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 64th minute, Ixaka Sisalde fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Marcelito Cajigal, passed just outside the right post. In the 65th match minute, Lapa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zarbonin Freije to maneuver through the defense. When Joseph Camango came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Patiecito fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joseph Camango couldn't finish the play. In the 77th minute of the match, Joseph Camango got a very nice opportunity to score, but Marcelito Cajigal was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Joseph Camango sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 80th minute Ixaka Sisalde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelito Cajigal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 82nd minute by Ixaka Sisalde got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Ixaka Sisalde could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Marcelito Cajigal made a huge save. Patiecito's Marcelo Froiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urtsua Torneira in the 89th minute of play. When Urtsua Torneira came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Lapa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Urtsua Torneira couldn't finish the play. After 95 minutes Lapa's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Frasco Ajorbe who took care of the corner kick. Patiecito were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
