In the 9th match minute, Caballito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Alesanco to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 14 minutes, Afonso Godines managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caburito FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Afonso Godines was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Afonso Godines had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th minute Bihar Ergueta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelino Cardona saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Indartsu Albaratay came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Caballito fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Indartsu Albaratay couldn't finish the play. Shepherd Hierro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Saturnin Echandi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shepherd Hierro in the 31st minute of the match. 34 minutes into the game, Bihar Ergueta recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marcelino Cardona. Bihar Ergueta showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Indartsu Albaratay's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Saturnin Echandi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Indartsu Albaratay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Saturnin Echandi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute Shepherd Hierro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saturnin Echandi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Shepherd Hierro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saturnin Echandi having to interfere. Criston Redonet kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Shepherd Hierro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 49th minute. Saturnin Echandi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Bihar Ergueta made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Caballito's zone, Afonso Godines stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelino Cardona came out of the goal and Afonso Godines tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcelino Cardona made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonso Godines in the 59th minute of play. Caburito FC were awarded a corner in the 61th minute after Caballito's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Colon Boix took the corner. Camilo Alesanco was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 72nd minute. Caballito's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 73rd minute, Indartsu Albaratay made a precise shot to the right of Saturnin Echandi. Caburito FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bihar Ergueta in the 77th minute of play forced Caballito's goalkeeper Marcelino Cardona to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Caburito FC's Afonso Godines in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 84thth minute of the game Afonso Godines who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Caballito's Marcelino Cardona was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Caballito's goal looked a bit too open when Bihar Ergueta came free, but Marcelino Cardona reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Victorio Affonso during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Caburito FC booed when Caballito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victorio Affonso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Indartsu Albaratay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Shepherd Hierro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caballito's supporters rose to their feet, but Shepherd Hierro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Saturnin Echandi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Shepherd Hierro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Saturnin Echandi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Indartsu Albaratay, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Saturnin Echandi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Shepherd Hierro in the 98th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Caballito players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Caburito FC.
