Andy Penagos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melquiades Macias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pepito Lastras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 13 minutes into the game, one of Vega:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. If Melquiades Macias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute, Maties Irala got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Maties Irala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atarrabi Brugos having to interfere. Fernando Gainza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40thth minute of the game Maties Irala who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uquirito FC's Atarrabi Brugos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 41 minutes into the match, Vega's Fernando Gainza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Atarrabi Brugos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Fernando Gainza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maties Irala in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Atarrabi Brugos saved Uquirito FC from getting behind. Andy Penagos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maju Iribe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Atarrabi Brugos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fernando Gainza in the 57th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Uquirito FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 59th minute. Penalty! Oxel Muguia walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Fernando Gainza struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Atarrabi Brugos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vega. If Pepito Lastras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silverio Miranda kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Uquirito FC's Onbera Adrian couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 70th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Vega. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Melquiades Macias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Uquirito FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Melquiades Macias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andy Penagos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 78 minutes into the game, Silverio Miranda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vega's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Uquirito FC the free kick. Silverio Miranda kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Atarrabi Brugos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maties Irala in the 82nd minute of play. Andy Penagos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pepito Lastras's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. The supporters of Uquirito FC booed when Vega was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silverio Miranda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pepito Lastras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andy Penagos having to interfere. 98 minutes into the match, Uquirito FC's goal looked a bit too open when Maties Irala came free, but Atarrabi Brugos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
