Canaima FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pringamozal the free kick. A collision led to Canaima FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Erasto Erce hit a great ball. In the 11th minute, Oro Bierna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Bruno Oñate had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Canaima FC's Alvaro Paya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lehen Pandal in the 18th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Canaima FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lehen Pandal came free, but Alvaro Paya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nesto Bracero was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 25 minutes into the match. After 38 played minutes Pringamozal got a freekick which was hit by Elodio Bolante. After recieving a nice pass, Canaima FC's Kemen Viana tried to score from far away in the 39th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Alvaro Paya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zacarias Valino in the 45th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 54th minute, Lehen Pandal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Erasto Erce kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Lehen Pandal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pringamozal's supporters rose to their feet, but Lehen Pandal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alvaro Paya breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 70 minutes, Rami Lastras mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Canaima FC and the Pringamozal players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lehen Pandal might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alvaro Paya. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lehen Pandal ran back to his position shaking his head. 0-2 became the score in the 74th minute when Oro Bierna elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The supporters of Pringamozal booed when Canaima FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gentza Granda didn't get a good kick on the ball.
