An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Emir Garipbaş in the 47th minute of play forced Guaimure's goalkeeper Karmel Zalvide to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After 83 played minutes Guaimure got a freekick which was hit by Xavier Villarmerin. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Guaimure's goalkeeper Karmel Zalvide, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Ahmet Emir Garipbaş put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Karmel Zalvide. When the match was over Nantes FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Guaimure throughout the match.
