Spectators: 7290 (Terracing: 5579, Seating: 1710, VIP seats: 1) Mariposal's Pacho Venancio started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Pacho Venancio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Pacho Venancio came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Mariposal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pacho Venancio couldn't finish the play. When Eduino Fururia fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mariposal's protests and gave Eduino Fururia a yellow card for diving instead. In the 10th minute, Eduino Fururia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12thth minute of the game Arlo Gian who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mariposal's Zayvion Cardeños was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bembe Cerra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guipuzkoa Serradell's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Táchira's Rameriz Brena got a free kick in the 14th minute. Guipuzkoa Serradell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guipuzkoa Serradell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bembe Cerra having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arlo Gian in the 38th minute of play forced Mariposal's goalkeeper Zayvion Cardeños to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pacho Venancio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bembe Cerra having to interfere. A collision led to Deportivo Táchira getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Raymundo Olmeda hit a great ball. After having played for 44 minutes, Guipuzkoa Serradell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mariposal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guipuzkoa Serradell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Arlo Gian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arlo Gian stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bembe Cerra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pacho Venancio in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 55th minute, Pacho Venancio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Deportivo Táchira booed when Mariposal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romo Izaguirre didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bembe Cerra came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Mariposal's Guipuzkoa Serradell. But to his dismay, Guipuzkoa Serradell quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After having played for 65 minutes, Pacho Venancio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mariposal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pacho Venancio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 70th minute, Pacho Venancio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bembe Cerra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pacho Venancio in the 75th minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Guipuzkoa Serradell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Deportivo Táchira's Bembe Cerra got control of the ball when Guipuzkoa Serradell tried to sneak it across the goal line. Oxarra Argudo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mariposal's Zayvion Cardeños played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arlo Gian in the 90th minute of play. The Deportivo Táchira supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Mariposal's performance. The match ended with a win for Mariposal.
