Aloisio Saena could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Bembe Cerra made a huge save. In the 15th minute Jeremias Mattei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Honrio Helguero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Taparones FC's Honrio Helguero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arlo Gian in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Deportivo Táchira's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Aloisio Saena fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Christiano Gadea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Aloisio Saena managed to get in a good position for a shot. Taparones FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aloisio Saena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bembe Cerra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aloisio Saena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Bembe Cerra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Taparones FC's Honrio Helguero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremias Mattei in the 30th minute of play. Berdoi Azpiroz hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Deportivo Táchira's Bembe Cerra got control of the ball when Christiano Gadea tried to sneak it across the goal line. Christiano Gadea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oxarra Argudo's late challenge caught a Taparones FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oxarra Argudo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 87th minute, Oxarra Argudo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Although Taparones FC had been in control for most of the match, Deportivo Táchira still came away with the win.
