With his leg Americo Pavieta managed to avoid a goal in the 14thth minute, when Guayaraca FC's Patrido Cucho fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Nueva Chicago's Americo Pavieta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Nueva Chicago from getting a goal against them. In the 27th minute, Reimundo Hondon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Patrido Cucho in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Americo Pavieta saved Nueva Chicago from getting behind. When Leoiar Polanco fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nueva Chicago's protests and gave Leoiar Polanco a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Nueva Chicago's Leoiar Polanco got a free kick in the 78th minute. Guayaraca FC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Nueva Chicago to leave the ground with a draw.
