Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Isaias Obana kicked off to start the match. After 5 played minutes Atletico Falcon got a freekick which was hit by Kauldi Barquerin. Gregorio Lomba didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lore Guevara went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Cordearo Barriola scored 2-0 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gregorio Lomba, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cordearo Barriola kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After 20 minutes of play, Atletico Falcon's Isaias Obana made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ildefonso Barcena was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cordearo Barriola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Gregorio Lomba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 31 played minutes Atletico Falcon got a freekick which was hit by Kauldi Barquerin. 34 minutes into the match, Tigritos's goal looked a bit too open when Jakobe Belarrinaga came free, but Ildefonso Barcena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Atletico Falcon's Gregorio Lomba got control of the ball when Txanton Unzaga tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Arturo Izar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tigritos's Ildefonso Barcena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jakobe Belarrinaga in the 42nd minute of play. If Cordearo Barriola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cordearo Barriola to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Atletico Falcon's Andres Barrutia got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 52nd minute, Marcelino Alarcon sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Atletico Falcon's Gregorio Lomba didn't even have to move. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mantzio Cardigondi during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The goalkeeper, Ildefonso Barcena, was totally fooled by Atletico Falcon's Isaias Obana, who 55 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The supporters of Tigritos booed when Atletico Falcon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maria Armas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gregorio Lomba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cordearo Barriola in the 60th minute of play. Cordearo Barriola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregorio Lomba having to interfere. Ildefonso Barcena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaias Obana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Cordearo Barriola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd match minute, Atletico Falcon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jakobe Belarrinaga to maneuver through the defense. Ildefonso Barcena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaias Obana in the 81st minute of play. Gregorio Lomba stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cordearo Barriola's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Dolfo Taviel charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dolfo Taviel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Atletico Falcon getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Dolfo Taviel hit a great ball. In the 97th minute, Atletico Falcon's Jakobe Belarrinaga ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ildefonso Barcena. Ildefonso Barcena yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-4. The Tigritos supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Atletico Falcon's performance. The match ended with a win for Atletico Falcon.
