Adrio Cossio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Richie Bueres read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Zacarias Ubago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richie Bueres having to interfere. Richie Bueres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zacarias Ubago in the 15th minute of the match. Golofa FC's Cordario Piñon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lazcano Ribeira in the 17th minute of play. After 23 played minutes Golofa FC got a freekick which was hit by Flavio Pedraza. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zacarias Ubago in the 29th minute of play forced Molinera's goalkeeper Richie Bueres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adrio Cossio got free with Richie Bueres in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 33rd minute, Zacarias Ubago fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 35th match minute, Molinera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Quinton Holguin to maneuver through the defense. Adrio Cossio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Zacarias Ubago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 43 minutes into the match, Golofa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leandro Arellano came free, but Cordario Piñon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Molinera booed when Golofa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eleuterio Sarasua didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zacarias Ubago stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55thth minute of the game Leandro Arellano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Golofa FC's Cordario Piñon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Leandro Arellano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cordario Piñon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. When Jago Caamaño fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Molinera's protests and gave Jago Caamaño a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Molinera fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 70th minute. Penalty! In the 77th minute, Adrio Cossio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gabrio Barba received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cordario Piñon came out and tried to block the shot, but Gabrio Barba slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 81st minute. Cordario Piñon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leandro Arellano went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. The Molinera players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
