In the 13th minute Teobaldo Moreyre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anxo Renta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Caneyes's Lano Zarra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chumo Chavarria in the 22nd minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Caneyes fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 28th minute. Penalty! 33 minutes into the match, Ildefonso Bergas notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Caneyes's Lano Zarra. Lano Zarra was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 41 minutes into the game, Fonda Calderona was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Caneyes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mamey FC the free kick. Atarratze Sandoval shot the penalty kick right outside the post. With a little luck, Caneyes's Lano Zarra got control of the ball when Chumo Chavarria tried to sneak it across the goal line. Severo Tamajon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 47 minutes into the match, Caneyes's goal looked a bit too open when Ildefonso Bergas came free, but Lano Zarra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The wind increased when Ildefonso Bergas made the kick off in the second half. Bertol Egas kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Ildefonso Bergas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68th minute, Mamey FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Teobaldo Moreyre fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After having played for 68 minutes, Txomin Villalba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caneyes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Txomin Villalba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Teobaldo Moreyre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anxo Renta having to interfere. Txomin Villalba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Anxo Renta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anxo Renta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teobaldo Moreyre in the 79th minute. Anxo Renta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Txomin Villalba, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Anxo Renta made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Teobaldo Moreyre sent off a good shot on target. Teobaldo Moreyre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute there was a penalty for Mamey FC. Atarratze Sandoval stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Lano Zarra. 4-0.
