Spectators: 6723 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Isias Asenjo started the match with the kick off. Gero Irulegui recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Mesero's zone, Isauro Obiano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Goren Chandeiro came out of the goal and Isauro Obiano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 9th match minute, Amarilis FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Napier Lazaeta to maneuver through the defense. Maurino Balda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isias Asenjo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tito Elicegui's late challenge caught a Amarilis FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tito Elicegui helped the player get up and apologised. After 15 played minutes Mesero got a freekick which was hit by Tito Elicegui. After 29 played minutes Mesero got a freekick which was hit by Dario Peral. 32 minutes into the game, Isias Asenjo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Maurino Balda. Isias Asenjo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. When Isias Asenjo came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Mesero fans jumped to their feet. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Isauro Obiano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Goren Chandeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gorbea Panadero in the 52nd minute of the match. Amarilis FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
