Seating: 1729, VIP seats: 0) Guaito's Beliran Gustros started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute Carlos Saena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bizen Almirall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Gonzo Ontoria managed to get in a good position for a shot. Patacon's supporters rose to their feet, but Gonzo Ontoria was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ramiro Guitian breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ramiro Guitian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonzo Ontoria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Carlos Saena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 13 minutes into the match, Patacon's goalkeeper Bizen Almirall had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Saena. Ourente Valenciaga charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ourente Valenciaga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Guaito booed when Patacon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ourente Valenciaga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlos Saena struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Bizen Almirall didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guaito. Through an outstanding action, after 22 minutes, Bizen Almirall successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Carlos Saena could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Bizen Almirall made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonzo Ontoria in the 29th minute of play forced Guaito's goalkeeper Ramiro Guitian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Guaito's goal looked a bit too open when Gonzo Ontoria came free, but Ramiro Guitian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gonzo Ontoria scored 0-1 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ramiro Guitian, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Manuelo Tigero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute Beliran Gustros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bizen Almirall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Beliran Gustros was extremely unlucky when he, in the 38th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After having played for 42 minutes, Gonzo Ontoria managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Patacon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gonzo Ontoria was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 46 minutes into the game, Patacon's Gonzo Ontoria nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ramiro Guitian made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.
56 minutes into the match, Honorio Bajuelo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bizen Almirall. Patacon's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Honorio Bajuelo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. 61 minutes into the game, Gonzo Ontoria cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Ramiro Guitian was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 66 played minutes Patacon got a freekick which was hit by Gizon España. Niguel Carmenata took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 67th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bizen Almirall. Patacon's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 68th match minute, Patacon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gizon España to maneuver through the defense. Patacon's Bizen Almirall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Saena in the 68th minute of play. With a little luck, Guaito's Ramiro Guitian got control of the ball when Gonzo Ontoria tried to sneak it across the goal line. Beliran Gustros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bizen Almirall took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beliran Gustros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gonzo Ontoria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Guaito supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Patacon's performance. The match ended with a win for Patacon.
