Mapanal FC's Zxavian Gijon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leheren Sereno in the 3rd minute of play. Zxavian Gijon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elequemedo Graña in the 5th minute of play. After 11 played minutes Mapanal FC got a freekick which was hit by Ferrando Eguiara. Mouricio Gorron, 11 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Galtero Odon kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Gustavo Torrez hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After 24 minutes, Elequemedo Graña made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Mapanal FC's Zxavian Gijon tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Mapanal FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Tulio Alonso hit a great ball. Elequemedo Graña received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Zxavian Gijon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 45 minutes, Ferrando Eguiara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mapanal FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ferrando Eguiara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half Guarabao FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

If Leheren Sereno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 74th minute of the game. One of Mapanal FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Guarabao FC:s goal. In the 85th match minute, Guarabao FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mincho Postigo to maneuver through the defense. If Oliveiro Neira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zxavian Gijon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Galtero Odon in the 94th minute. Zxavian Gijon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elequemedo Graña in the 97th minute of play. Zxavian Gijon didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 99th minute, which inside left pole to 0-4. The Mapanal FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Guarabao FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
