Taguayre FC's Teyo Ugia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bastia Cetina in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th minute Columbo Maeda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teyo Ugia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Urre Dragranda hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Caitano Quiros's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pio Cañon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Bastia Cetina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teyo Ugia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bastia Cetina in the 43rd minute of the match. Teyo Ugia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bastia Cetina, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Teyo Ugia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Columbo Maeda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

After 54 minutes, Quilino Souto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Volcan FC and the Taguayre FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Pio Cañon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roque Trevino in the 55th minute of play. During the 58th minute of the match Quilino Souto completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Quilino Souto a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Brion Trillanes took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Teyo Ugia to make any attempt to save it. Taguayre FC's Teyo Ugia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Taguayre FC from getting a goal against them. After 75 played minutes Taguayre FC got a freekick which was hit by Caitano Quiros. Bastia Cetina came free with the goalkeeper in the 96th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Teyo Ugia could save by the left post. The Taguayre FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Volcan FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Volcan FC.
