Spectators: 6712 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1712, VIP seats: 0) Cariben FC's Silvio Garnelo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Verdun FC's Garcia Salvador got a free kick in the 3rd minute. If Lucas Zubillaga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pere Padilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matia Tebar in the 10th minute of the match. Precioso Bolide charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Precioso Bolide the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Verdun FC's Julen Merayo got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Matia Tebar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Verdun FC booed when Cariben FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tulio Ingla didn't get a good kick on the ball. The goalkeeper, Pere Padilla, was totally fooled by Verdun FC's Errolan Vicioso, who 24 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. A collision led to Cariben FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Edgardo Simancas hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Julen Merayo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Verdun FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Julen Merayo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pere Padilla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Matia Tebar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pere Padilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matia Tebar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Precioso Bolide kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. After 35 played minutes Matia Tebar rounded Cariben FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. Xavierlada Guridi came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Cariben FC's Lucas Zubillaga. But to his dismay, Lucas Zubillaga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The wind increased when Matia Tebar made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Cariben FC's Precioso Bolide got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 55th minute of the match Errolan Vicioso sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pere Padilla skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Verdun FC booed when Cariben FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgardo Simancas didn't get a good kick on the ball. 57 minutes into the game, Orlondo Ugia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Verdun FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cariben FC the free kick. When Julen Merayo came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Verdun FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julen Merayo couldn't finish the play. When Elizardo Claveria fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cariben FC's protests and gave Elizardo Claveria a yellow card for diving instead. In the 61st minute, Elizardo Claveria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pere Padilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matia Tebar in the 63rd minute of play. After 64 minutes of play Cariben FC's Elizardo Claveria was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Cariben FC's Elizardo Claveria got a free kick in the 64th minute. If Julen Merayo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Cariben FC's zone, Julen Merayo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pere Padilla came out of the goal and Julen Merayo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pere Padilla stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julen Merayo's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Matia Tebar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pere Padilla having to interfere. In the 86thth minute of the game Julen Merayo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cariben FC's Pere Padilla was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Verdun FC defense, Tulio Ingla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Xavierlada Guridi. The Verdun FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Xavierlada Guridi should have stopped the shot. In the 95th minute, Julen Merayo made a precise shot to the right of Pere Padilla. Cariben FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Verdun FC had played much better football throughout.
