Spectators: 6722 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1722, VIP seats: 0) Cariben FC's Pere Padilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicodemo Mancina in the 2nd minute of play. Pere Padilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Urtsua Torriba in the 4th minute of the match. Gutxi Brena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pere Padilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicodemo Mancina in the 12th minute of play. Zosimo Balbanea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvio Garnelo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute, Gutxi Brena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Cariben FC's Lucas Elorriaga tried to score from far away in the 20th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 22nd minute, Lucas Zubillaga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cariben FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 27 minutes into the match, Lucas Zubillaga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zosimo Balbanea. Veracruz's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lucas Zubillaga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Silvio Garnelo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 32nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Gutxi Brena kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Veracruz's Zosimo Balbanea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Veracruz from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Veracruz's zone, Lucas Zubillaga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zosimo Balbanea came out of the goal and Lucas Zubillaga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Urtsua Torriba to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Silvio Garnelo in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zosimo Balbanea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Urtsua Torriba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pere Padilla having to interfere. After 56 played minutes Cariben FC got a freekick which was hit by Edgardo Simancas. After 62 played minutes Urtsua Torriba rounded Cariben FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-1. The audience was convinced that Silvio Garnelo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zosimo Balbanea was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. 76 minutes into the match, Veracruz's Urtsua Torriba sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pere Padilla narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Urtsua Torriba came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Veracruz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Urtsua Torriba couldn't finish the play. Silvio Garnelo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Veracruz's Nicodemo Mancina got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 95th minute, Gutxi Brena had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. In the 96th minute, Tulio Ingla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 97 played minutes, Veracruz's Cai Paracuellos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pere Padilla came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Veracruz reached it.
