The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the game, Orti Trifol cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Omar Garizabal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Omar Garizabal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orti Trifol, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Omar Garizabal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quinten Valseca in the 13th minute of play. Orti Trifol scored 0-2 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Omar Garizabal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 20 minutes into the match, Cumaná Young Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Orti Trifol came free, but Omar Garizabal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ederono Batalle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Omar Garizabal was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Ederono Batalle fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paradero's protests and gave Ederono Batalle a yellow card for diving instead. After 39 played minutes Paradero got a freekick which was hit by Ederono Batalle. In the 46th minute Quinten Valseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Garizabal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 46 played minutes Cumaná Young Boys got a freekick which was hit by Raul Lasalde. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Larpe Campon to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raul Lasalde in the 53rd minute of play forced Paradero's goalkeeper Cristian Vaya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Larpe Campon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Cristian Vaya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Omar Garizabal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ederono Batalle, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Ederono Batalle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omar Garizabal having to interfere. Javiar Burset sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Omar Garizabal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ederono Batalle in the 69th minute of the match. Ederono Batalle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 82nd minute, Orti Trifol left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Paradero fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. After 87 played minutes Cumaná Young Boys got a freekick which was hit by Vasco Pelaci. Omar Garizabal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xines Peñin in the 88th minute of play. Omar Garizabal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Quinten Valseca in the 94th minute. Paradero's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
