Spectators: 6730 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Saturnino Santecilla started the match with the kick off. Brais Brizuela's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vistruario Fontan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. When Brais Brizuela came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Castana FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brais Brizuela couldn't finish the play. Millano Tojedo hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. 13 minutes into the match, Castana FC's goal looked a bit too open when Saturnino Santecilla came free, but Narciso Reboyras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute of the match Canaveral got a corner. Castana FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Erroman Lacalle ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Erroman Lacalle almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Castana FC's Narciso Reboyras did a great save. In the 15th match minute, Castana FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Americo Barrial to maneuver through the defense. Narciso Reboyras showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saturnino Santecilla in the 22nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Sergio Galindo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Castana FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sergio Galindo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vistruario Fontan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 28 minutes into the match, Canaveral's goal looked a bit too open when Brais Brizuela came free, but Vistruario Fontan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 32 minutes, Sergio Galindo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Castana FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sergio Galindo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Matro Tiedra fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Canaveral's protests and gave Matro Tiedra a yellow card for diving instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Brais Brizuela made a kick off. Sergio Galindo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 52ndth minute, Vistruario Fontan skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a little luck, Canaveral's Vistruario Fontan got control of the ball when Sergio Galindo tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Saturnino Santecilla in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Narciso Reboyras saved Castana FC from getting behind. Vistruario Fontan made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Sergio Galindo sent off a good shot on target. Saturnino Santecilla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Abilio Gargante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
