The audience thought a goal was coming when Reinaldo Trillanes got free with Fidele Mazorra in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After taking down the ball on Granates FC's corner Robustiano Pablo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fidele Mazorra quite easily take care of the ball.

Onofre Garnica made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Larra Tavira sent off a good shot on target. Aratana FC were awarded a corner in the 62th minute after Granates FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Seme Prelo took the corner. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Aratana FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Granates FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
