After a defensive mix-up in Formidable's zone, Crispo Ibias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reynaldo Solera came out of the goal and Crispo Ibias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Churuguarita FC's Emilio Herquinigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clemencin Rascuro in the 14th minute of play. Reynaldo Solera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Veto PayµN, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 17 minutes into the match, Formidable's goal looked a bit too open when Veto PayµN came free, but Reynaldo Solera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clemencin Rascuro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Veto PayµN received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Reynaldo Solera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Crispo Ibias came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Churuguarita FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Crispo Ibias couldn't finish the play. 27 minutes into the match, Formidable's goal looked a bit too open when Veto PayµN came free, but Reynaldo Solera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Crispo Ibias got free with Reynaldo Solera in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Veto PayµN sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aldomiro Sagarteguieta in the 39th minute of play forced Churuguarita FC's goalkeeper Emilio Herquinigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emilio Herquinigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Argenis Bradi in the 41st minute of the match. 42 minutes into the game, Samuel Marban was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Churuguarita FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Formidable the free kick. Samuel Marban kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Emilio Herquinigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clemencin Rascuro in the 45th minute of the match. After having played for 47 minutes, Clemencin Rascuro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Formidable's supporters crossed their fingers, but Clemencin Rascuro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

54 minutes into the game, Aldomiro Sagarteguieta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Formidable's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Churuguarita FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Formidable's Aldomiro Sagarteguieta got a free kick in the 54th minute. Emilio Herquinigo made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Aldomiro Sagarteguieta sent off a good shot on target. Aldomiro Sagarteguieta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 69th match minute, Formidable was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Narciso Sotuela to maneuver through the defense. Oliviero Lasalde was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 70th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Clemencin Rascuro might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emilio Herquinigo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Clemencin Rascuro ran back to his position shaking his head. Formidable's Reynaldo Solera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Veto PayµN in the 76th minute of play. Crispo Ibias's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Reynaldo Solera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. The Formidable supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Formidable would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
